Who is Cristina?

ABOUT ME

I am Cristina Lirola, a mixture of Catalan and Andalusian roots that give spark to my active, restless, creative and adventurous spirit.

Although pastry has always been my great passion, in 2010 I took the risk and I moved to Dublin.

For five years, I immersed myself in the exciting world of gastronomy, playing key roles as headwaiteress and sommelier at Salt Avoca. At that time I had the opportunity to travel to several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia exploring their culinary delights.

However, my heart took me back home to Barcelona. There, I decided to embark on a new stage and continue my training at the prestigious Hofmann Hospitality School. After devoting several years to my training, I finally found my place in the production team of the Hofmann Pastry Shop, where I also took on management responsibilities.

Insatiable curiosity and the desire to continue growing in the exciting world of pastry led me to the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian. At this prestigious university, I had the opportunity to bet on teaching and started as a pastry teacher. After years of dedication and effort, I now have the honor of coordinating the Master’s Degree in Restaurant Pastry and Sweet Cuisine.

My life has been a delicious mix of adventures and learning in the world of pastry and gastronomy. Every step I have taken, every corner I have explored, and every challenge I have overcome has helped settle my passion and commitment to this wonderful profession. My desire is to continue to share my love for pastry with others who are passionate about the culinary art.

Thank you for being part of my story!
